My House

We invited John over to my place to do a voiceover for our film, "The Collegians Are Go!!". We'd tried to get him to do a cameo a couple of times, but he never called back. However, on this day, we were lucky. He said that he'd love to do a voiceover part. I told him I'd call him back and let him know what time we wanted to start, etc.

Johnny called my house on the day of the recording. He wanted to know when we were going to start. He left a message something to the effect of, "Gimme a call back, faggot". I called Johnny back and told him we wanted to start at 8pm. This was way too late for him, he protested. It was 6pm and he was on his sixth beer. Lately, he's been working in a warehouse and he has to get up real early -- but it's a job he says he enjoys. John says that he's going to take a nap and I agree to call him at 8.

So 8pm finally rolls around and I call Mr. Rapist. John all of a sudden says that he can't do it. I can hear him talking to someone in the background. So I don't know what's up. He insists that it's my fault because I didn't want to start at 6pm. I can see that this is going nowhere fast, so I say goodbye and hangup because we've got a lot of work to do.

While we were working, the phone rang a couple of times, but I didn't answer it. The next day I checked my messages -- and who called the night before but Mr. Rapist. He apologized PROFUSELY on my answering machine. This, by the way, when he thought that "The John Motard Politeness Update" was defunct.

Don't know if we're going to be able to get him in the movie, though.

El flojo
